Moments in Ease
Step into Moments in Ease, where art meets mindfulness to celebrate the beauty of slowing down—inviting you to savor life's simple pleasures and rediscover the joy of leisure.
Exhibition Summary:
Welcome to Moments in Ease, an immersive online art viewing room that celebrates the art of leisure. In a time where busyness seems to define our lives, this exhibition invites you to pause and find a moment of stillness, embracing the beauty of mindfulness and the joy of life’s simple pleasures. We have selected 8 artworks, one from each gallery artists, which exemplifies Moments in Ease.
From a functional, custom art coffee table designed to enhance the spaces where we gather and unwind, to leisurely posed figurative works that capture the grace of stillness, each piece evokes the essence of relaxation. Collage works vibrantly depict pastimes like attending live music performances, their layered textures mirroring the spontaneity and energy of these shared experiences.
Each selected artwork is either inspired by nature, leisure activities aimed at reducing anxiety and stress, or a functional approach to help us sit down and savor each moment. Through this collection, Moments in Ease examines leisure not just as an activity but as an essential part of human expression—reminding us to slow down, connect, and savor what life has to offer.
This viewing room is more than an exhibition; it’s an invitation to reclaim moments of ease and mindfulness amidst the rush. Let these artworks inspire you to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary and find joy in the present. Explore and immerse yourself in the art of living well.

A NOTE FROM JUSTIN WINKEL:
The theme of this viewing room was inspired by two books I recently read. The first explores the science behind how our minds and bodies transform when we engage with the arts. The second is a step-by-step guide to breaking cycles of anxiety and addictive behaviors. Both resonated deeply with me, as someone immersed in art daily and personally attuned to its therapeutic benefits. At the same time, I’ve wrestled with anxiety throughout the creative process.
I’ve included both books in this viewing room for those interested in delving deeper into these subjects. Reading them sparked the idea for this space, as I wanted to highlight not only the transformative power of art but also how artists often weave mindfulness and stillness into their work—whether intentionally or not.
Art is far more than something beautiful to look at; it holds the potential to heal and ground us if we allow it to fulfill its purpose. My hope is that this viewing room offers a glimpse into that transformative experience and inspires a deeper connection with both the art and yourself.
Your Brain on Art is a portal into this new understanding about how the arts and aesthetics can help us transform traditional medicine, build healthier communities, and mend an aching planet.
A step-by-step plan clinically proven to break the cycle of worry and fear that drives anxiety and addictive habits. We are living through one of the most anxious periods any of us can remember. Whether facing issues as public as a pandemic or as personal as having kids at home and fighting the urge to reach for the wine bottle every night, we are feeling overwhelmed and out of control.
